Don't Do This! Do That!

Are you tired of being told "don't do it this way do it that way" or "do this and don't do that?" Particularly with fitness?
For instance:
To do cardio or not to do cardio.
To do HIIT training or not to do HIIT training
Weight training reps? Too high? Too low??
How to perform movements, how not to perform movements.
These days there's so much information around on social media and some of it can definitely be misinformation! So how do you know what's true and what's not? Well depending on who you're following, you may want to see what credentials they have. Sometimes you can go with your gut feeling and do what make you happy.
Bottom line: do what makes you feel good at the end of the day and try not to get caught up in all the chaos on social media.
Always be safe especially when you are weightlifting and form and technique outweighs load!
As for myself being a Personal Trainer and coach, if I am not comfortable with certain information or movements or tips, I reach out to my colleagues! I look through my books, I find ways to make sure I am confident with what I then teach or train to others. The last thing I want to do is to shout out random stuff!
For me and my personal fitness journey, I do all the styles of training I want! I add in my cardio, definitely lift my weights, spike that heart rate with some HIIT but most importantly I still do what feels good!
