Are you ready to Eat Like An Athlete?
For most of us, this means we’re pushing ourselves to be better than last year, or just better than we thought we could, as well as cheering on all of the amazing people we workout with as they crush their goals.
Even if you might never end up at the CrossFit Games, paying attention to how you eat around workouts can make a huge difference in how you feel during workouts and how you recover after to make sure you’re ready for whatever comes next.
Come on out to our Eat Like An Athlete seminar on January 30th at 6:30pm, run by our Registered Dietitian, Mairead! (If you’re in the Open Prep course, you can stay on for class after!)
In this 45-minute seminar we’ll cover:
- What and when to eat before workouts to make sure you’re fuelled up and ready to go.
- What and when to eat after workouts to help your body recover.
- Timing food around workouts, no matter what time you workout during the day
- Whether supplements need to be in your pre/post-workout plans
- Snack and meal ideas to keep you from eating bananas before every workout for the rest of your life.
