Linda is a member of our Wellness Coaching classes and attends classes regularly. We absolutely love having her sunny, good humoured personality in class, and she works so hard! Recently having a wrist injury, even a cast couldn't stop her from getting her workouts!

What brought you to Wellness Coaching in the first place?
Degree Fitness occasionally has a Bring a Friend day. That was my introduction to the Team.
What was your first impression? How has that changed?
I definitely started with the comfort that I knew several ladies that I was going to be exercising with. A plus was being introduced to some new friends and some very well educated instructors! There is a good variety in the routines.
The workouts give me a feeling of self accomplishment and there is amazing encouragement within our group.
What was your first “bright spot”?
The bright spot for me is knowing that I could build up my strength again. I had a fitness instructor when I was in my 40s and 50s and was thinking now I’m in my 60s, can I do it?
What are you working on now?
Currently, I am limited as I broke my wrist, but the instructor was able to adjust my workout so that I could still work on my core and leg exercises. Thank you, MJ!
What is your advice for someone who is thinking about starting at Degree?
For anyone whose questioning is this for me, I know mentally I feel better and physically I feel better.
I look forward to my morning exercise and the group of people that I work out with, make it a whole lot of fun. So glad I’m doing this for myself!
